VIDEO: Surprise! GOP has no replacement for health care reform they so badly want repealed

The GOP newest wet dream is their tactfully titled “Repealing the Job-Killing Health Care Law Act”, and by tactful I mean incendiary. Where have they been all week, under a Glock?

President Obama would veto this utter waste of congressional tail-chasing, and voters are more and more inclined to want more, not less health care reform.

Nonetheless, Republicans are sticking to their guns (no pun intended this time, honest) and insisting that somehow, maybe, they might kinda come up with some way to play CYA and concoct (very costly) reforms of their own, if only they could think of some.

Which they can’t.

Think Progress has more, but here’s a video of Weekly Standard editor Bill Kristol twisting himself into Bush pretzel contortions claiming that more debate will solve the whole problem.

Call me crazy, but didn’t we have a really, really hate-filled,  debate before the bill was passed?

Last week I called my (republican) congressman’s office and asked for a copy of the republican replacement plan, I also asked for reassurance that those who have already obtained insurance through the ACA would not be left without benefits. They said they would get back to me with the information (which we now know they do not have) so far – silence. They will never get back to me (perhaps I have a history of putting them on the spot), anyway I guess my request to you all – please do the same -make them squirm!!!

i still like the idea (not original to me) of the dems calling it the “restore the child-killing pre-existing conditions act.”

Yup, said that in the post and linked to the polls. The GOP is full of it.

Bottom line…they got nothin’ and Bill Kristol knows it. Some of the dissatisfaction with HCR is that it doesn’t go far enough.
