A few days ago, we posted a video of Sharron Angle’s disgusting remarks mocking health coverage for “autism” and, for some reason, maternity leave. Here it is, so you can once again see for yourselves what a despicable excuse for a human being she is:
Health and Human Services secretary Kathleen Sebelius did something unusual, because apparently, she is as offended as we are. She jumped into the candidates’ battle for the Senate seat. Let’s hope her efforts bring attention to what a destructive, insensitive loon Angle is.
Via Greg Sargent, here’s what she said:
“It is my understanding that Sharron Angle believes that there is a hoax, under the guise of autism, where you would include requests for treatments that may not even be required… I don’t know if there is anyplace in the country where the differences in the candidates are more stark than here.”
Sebelius threw in the word “insulting” (to parents and kids), which is something I wish more people in power would do. Loudly. On the Tee Vee Machine. Repeatedly.
