C-SPAN to Broadcast Glenn Beck’s ‘Restoring Honor’ Rally

I thought Glenn said that this was a “non-political, non-partisan event”? If so, what is the reasoning behind C-SPAN covering it? At least Sharpton’s rally can be seen in a historical light.

C-SPAN will be covering Glenn Beck’s “Restoring Honor” rally at the Lincoln Memorial this Saturday, with Sarah Palin among those expected to attend. Coverage begins 10amET.

C-SPAN also will cover the Rev. Al Sharpton’s “Reclaim the Dream” rally at Dunbar High School in Washington, DC. That event will be shown on C-SPAN later on Saturday. Rev. Sharpton will be a guest on C-SPAN’s live call-in interview program “Washington Journal” Saturday morning at 7:45amET.

    I keep seeing the comment “non-political?. Not true”. If the mainstream media calls this a political rally, then that means one party has this issue right, and the other not right. So maybe that's true?!?!?!

    C-span is helping to promote the Fox news of Rupert Murdoch, and the oil-petroleum rich right wing financing libertarian Coke brothers (pronounced like the cola drink), and the lies and facist political actions of FreedomWorks.

    You really haven't noticed cspan's rightward slide the last few years? They cover cpac/aipac gavel to gavel for cripes sakes. And book weekends are mostly unwatchable anymore. It's really sad.
