Scum sucking piece of crap.

Sen. Max Baucus (D-MT) one of the chief authors of the new health care law, admitted in a Montana town hall meeting that he did not read the entire 2,400 page piece of legislation, according to the Flathead Beacon.

Said Baucus: “I don’t think you want me to waste my time to read every page of the health care bill. You know why? It’s statutory language. We hire experts.”

While it is honest for these politicians to indicate that they have not read the health reform bill, they do set themselves up to fall when confronted by messaging from those who choose to take advantage of the concept of these politicians voting for something that they don't understand.

I agree with Baucus, it is rather delusional to believe that a lawmaker reads/comprehends every line of legislation on which they're voting. However, it's remarkably stupid and politically moronic for one to admit to as much.
