    This video was my idea in order to plead with those liberals that feel such hatred to our young men and women – and veterans of any wars. To plead for them to open their hearts and remember the soldiers are human beings with hearts and souls. When they come back home, they'll have so much to deal with as it is. They've most likely seen friends killed, had to kill to protect themselves, seen pain and suffering that most don't see in an entire lifetime. They will have to somehow get back into civilian life and it won't be easy for them. Anyone that would spit on them or call them names is soulless and heartless..I mean how else could they be so cruel. Please have a heart. Put yourselves in their shoes. My son joined for his education…he promised me he wouldn't be IN the war per se… his bio father talked him into going in as infantry. He's a 30plus year Nat'l Guard member and his wife just finished her 3 tour in Iraq. I am anti war …….and PRO human beings and our soldiers

    yes, pain, love, compassion… my only son and my youngest. I lost a baby years ago at 6 months old…he was my first born and first son… that can't happen again…

    You must be a bloody awful mother to be anti-war and have two children in combat. Don't impose Your guilt on me. “By any means necessary” means I have no animosity toward occupied people defending themselves. As I said, I prefer they just get home, and get deprogrammed to the extent possible. Unfortunately, Your kids are already dead. They lost their lives when they enlisted. I'm very sorry for Your loss. Supporting the troops just leads to more killing on both sides. I refuse to support them, or the systems and institutions that put them in combat. Go ahead and hate me for my position on this. Truly your comment is a threat. Did you really believe you could make such a statement/threat to fellow Americans and no one would disagree? Frankly I do not believe in war. I do not believe in violence. My heart is breaking as is a lot of other family members. But IT IS OUR JOB TO MAKE SURE THEY DON'T GO TO WAR IN THE FIRST PLACE.     This is the worst piece of crap I've ever seen on the Political Carnival. No matter how young and foolish they are when they join, no matter how noble their intentions may be, no matter what their particular participation may be, soldiers kill people and break things. They either do it themselves, or perform some task to support killing people or breaking things. “Supporting the troops” is supporting the killing of people and breaking of things. I want them to stop killing people and breaking things, preferably by coming home, but any means of stopping them will do. If You “support the troops” You are being used by the propaganda machine to support war, and eliminate anti-war protesting. This video ends with Peace Signs, but it is a big “Fuck You” to Peace.

    These are important, even historical videos: a peek into the unwavering love and support that is vital to keep our young boys and girls feeling the respect due them for being in peril each and every day of their lives. My love for these children and their families is without compare. I hate war. I hate it.

    I could literally feel the pain coming from Becky when she was talking about her son. Having a kid in the middle of a war has to be unimaginably tough.
