I swear it was like the so-called Senate nominee was on drugs. Later in the broadcast, Keith mentioned he strongly suspected that Greene's off-camera attorney was feeding him lines.

If this is what it smells like, there's a bucket of federal crimes here. Let the investigations begin! Jim Demint is a klu klux klan kriminal and must be brought to justice.

You are on the money. This is EXACTLY what the carpetbagging Repubs did after the civil war.

  • MitchM

I agree, he is being used. The poor man is going to get eaten alive, so I hope he got a swiss bank account number in exchange for the shark feed he just dove into.

If he is a plant, then we are talking major racism and voter fraud. If he is a plant the Black community in SC should do some marching.

Why does he need a lawyer?

Why can he not discuss specific events involved with his "campaigning" efforts?

If he he is a Democrat and expects to represent Democratic interests and views why would he not make himself known to the party?

If he is truly a Democrat why would he not approach the state's or local's organization to seek monitary help for mailers, fliers and arranging sites, diners, public events, etc. to introduce himself to the voters.

Even just going to the local city council meeting and speaking out on various issues whould have introduced him to those present, civilian and politican.

In regards to the off-camera attorney - you can hear another persons voice come in at 4:57. I can't tell what he says.

I tried doing lalalala and ended up playing a random cspan vid to cover the audio coming from the other room. Painful.

From my understanding, Greene is going up against the bigot known as Jim DeMint. Considering the comment that Walt left on another blog article, it appears that Greene is being used to help DeMint achieve an "easy" victory. In other words, a victory that would boost DeMint's ego and further his racist agenda.

Wow ,That doesn't seem fishy at all...I've seen "man on the street" interviews with people with more conviction. He has no clue, and no swagger for winning,no excitement.Just a pawn.

Oh, geez. WTH is going on here? I'm so embarrassed for him. Olbermann's questions weren't anything out of the ordinary, and he's just as puzzled as a lot of people--how did Mr. Greene win, when he apparently didn't do any kind of campaigning, didn't spend any money on ads, has no website, held no meetings or any kinds of rallies? Nobody has apparently heard of him. So...WTH is going on? I think Katie's right. I think he's being used. But why? And by whom? This whole thing is freaky.

I didn't watch the video, but I will take Clancy's, Laffy's, and Xenia's words for it. It sounds like that Walt wasn't kidding about Greene.

I saw this live and I wanted to cry. This poor man is being used in South Carolina.

I feel like I've been transported back to 1875 and the Ku Klux Klan is trying to demonstrate the ignorance of the freed slaves elected to office.

  • Clancy

I can't watch this again. Saw it live and had to change the channel because I was so embarrassed for this guy.

After watching this video, I am now entirely convinced that he was put up to this. I wonder where Alvin Greene got the money to hire an attorney. Join the Facebook group urging officials to investigate Alvin Greene's candidacy. We must find out where he got the $10,400 filing fee.
