Look who's advising Sarah Palin!

Once upon a time, there was an anti-Semite named Fred Malek:

Fred Malek's 1971 memo for Richard Nixon listing Jews in the Bureau of Labor Statistics has landed him in much controversy before, and new documents highlighted in recent days by Slate.com and the Washington Post have intensified that controversy. In this clip from the Nixon tapes, the President issues orders for Malek to "see what we can do about" Jews in the federal government.

That was a long, long time ago in a strange and dangerous place called DC Land. Today, in the land of Virginia, Fred the Nixonite has made somewhat of a comeback:

Malek previously has been implicated in Nixon's crusade against Jews, and in 1988, he resigned from the Republican National Committee because of it. He has apologized for his involvement but always has denied playing a central part.

Now, the 22-year-old controversy has resurfaced, with Democratic lawmakers in Virginia complaining about Malek's appointment by Gov. Robert F. McDonnell (R) as chairman of a panel studying the state budget deficit.

You all remember that knave, McDonnell, don't you?  I hear even his own steed shuns him.

And lo and behold, from the Castle of Wasilly in the Land of Babble, Half-Princess McNotJewish enters the story:

In addition to chairing Republican Sen. John McCain's campaign finance committee in the 2008 presidential race, Malek is an adviser to former Alaska governor Sarah Palin.

All the people of the lands should look askance and askew at Half-Princess McNotJewish, because as we've learned from the residents of the Valley of Hell No, guilt by association is something to heed. And heed we will.. since they insist.

    Why is there anti-semitism?

After Pat Buchanan's lovely comments about too many Jews on the Supreme Court, I am sadly feeling vindicated in my feelings that the GOP is only about 2 seconds away from outright anti-Semitism...These crazy right wingers don't like anyone not "of" them. And certainly we Jews are not of them...

First they came for the....and I did not speak up because I was not...

Speak up people...the GOP isn't what you think it is!

Why are Nixon advisors still around? Maybe this guy Malek thinks the climate is just right for some Jew counting....and he knows just the shrill, hateful person to help him.
