Ben Smith found an interesting comment on the brand spanking new Republican website America Speaking Out, where policy suggestions are welcomed with Rushpublic big tent, open arms.

I clicked on Ben’s link, but oops:

However, Ben has the quote:

Suggestion 217: “Repeal Section II of the 1964 Civil Rights Act, it’s UNCONSTITUTIONAL, PROGRESSIVE and HITLER.” (Yes, “and HITLER.”)

Wow, progressive and Hitler! All in one suggestion! Nice use of the word “Hitler” as an adjective. The author may have been behind a few of those Tea Potty (<–coined by Keith Olbermann) signs.

What is it they keep saying? Take America back… ? Sure, all the way back to pre-1964. Good slogan for 2010 and 2012, guys. Nothing extreme about that.
