Right-wing blogger Dan Riehl: "Isn’t It Time To Euthanize Reid’s Wife?"

You’re all well aware of the serious automobile crash that Harry Reid’s wife and daughter recently experienced. Mrs. Reid has suffered very serious, longterm injuries. I can’t imagine the pain she must be in.

Alan Colmes just pointed me to a post about it… a nasty, disgusting post. Dan Riehl needs to be exposed for the heartless sicko that he is:

If Democrats want so badly to abort babies [...] why are we bothering with someone who has a broken neck and back at 69? It sounds to me like she’s pretty well used up and has probably been living off the taxpayers for plenty of years [...]

I don’t see that she’s worth it at this point, frankly. I can’t recall her ever doing anything for me.

And it is, after all, all about Danny Boy, who seems pretty “used up” himself.

Yes, it’s all about him: The car accident. The frantic worry about Reid’s family. The horror and physical suffering. Wow, how could that insensitive Landra Reid allowed herself to end up hospitalized after all Riehl has done for her?

Come on, Harry – do your civic duty. [...] Pull the plug and get back to work. And don’t bill us for a full day today, either. [...] Air freight her home, you can bury her during recess on your own time and dime. Or are you going to bill us for that, too?

I’d love the media to get hold of this story and put this guy out of business, allowing him to join the ranks of the unemployed.

That way he could very well find himself without medical coverage. Wouldn’t that be ironic?

Then let’s see how he’d feel about the pain of living in the Riehl world.

UPDATE: Celtic Diva has more.

Dan Riehl, meet Fred Phelps. You guys have a lot in common.

  • Joe D.

Another right-wing turd trying to be the next Rush by saying something outrageous hoping to get national attention. Check out the comments section on his article/posting. He engages some of his critics with child-like name calling and then closes the comments section out of fear of common sense people flaming him out with logic and well, common sense. Take joy in knowing a little pee wee like him will never make the "big time" ranks of the Rush's of the world and will have to reside in cyber space trying to make a pittance off of his stupid posts. Well, that and having to contend with defeat after defeat as PRESIDENT Obama continues to undo all that these lunatics think they hold near and dear.

Abortion is a personal choice it has it's champions and detractors ,as with any other decision!Even Sarah Palin claims she was faced with the pro and con of aborting(True or not she said it )it is the right to have that choice thats at stake ! As a free Nation it is a Womans right to choose! Its as basic as choosing a book to read (I'm sure not as easy).Dan Riehl you are a disgrace to yourself and your followers. You are mistaken if you think all Democrats believe in everything you and your ilk "Claim" not to believe in. This used to be a nation that would bend party lines and compromise, It's people like you who are bent on dividing this Great Country Guess what we're on to you and you wont succeed !

What a horrible man Dan Riehl is.

  • cowboyneok

What a ridiculous clown! I'm glad he said it. It just shows how vile the right wing is.

  • Alamar9

Well said. And I would ask him: "Do you know the guy who hit Them?"

  • emiliepeacock

I would never wish anything bad or tragic happens to anyone whom he holds dear or whom he loves. Because eating crow is not a tasty dish and karma is a b*tch. The Universe hears such statements and doles out the appropriate response in it's own good time.

I am sending many thoughts and prayers to Sen. Reid and his wife and daughter.

As for Riehl, I would not dignify him with any further attention.

I agree with Kathcom, this is clearly intended to shock. . . and make some sort of stupid point about abortion. Of course, the stupid part of Riehl's course of attack is that its targets, Landra and Harry Reid, are anti-choice.

  • Darklady

Of course he's baiting folks… but this is a particularly tasteless and offensive method of baiting. He's talking about a very real human being, he's insulting her husband — who presumably is in emotional pain right now — and he's letting ALL older people know he considers it appropriate to joke about pulling the plug on them because they're useless.

I'm sure it's just "satire." Like Rush Limbaugh.

  • Darklady

And we'll never hear the Goddess of the Teabagging GOP say a word against this. She's too busy demanding that Senator Grayson be run out of office.

These people are disgusting. "Family Guy" is supposedly a grievous sin against Trig, but telling a man to kill his injured wife is just political theater.

Gotta love those GOP family values.

  • fromthediagonal

You make perfect sense: forewarned is forearmed! We need all the warnings we can get!

  • fromthediagonal

Has he been lobotomized already, or there is some serious genetic defect?

  • kathcom

I have to believe that he's just deliberately trying to shock, to say that people who are pro-choice are the heartless ones, killing unborn fetuses. He's just baiting us to draw us out and, of course, to make himself a household name. The best thing to do to this guy is ignore him, in my opinion. But I'm still glad you brought it to my attention…which doesn't make sense, I guess.

  • jurassicpork

Isn't it time we lobotomized Dan Riehl?
